How to Make a Cadillac Look Like a Sports Car

Step 1

Tint the windows. This is a common customization done to many tricked-out vehicles, and while this is not the single most defining adjustment to the car’s decor that can liken it to a Mustang or Ferrari, your Cadillac will definitely look less like a sports car if the windows aren’t tinted.

Step 2

Adjust the size of the rims. Sport car enthusiasts have a tendency to customize their vehicles with larger rims on the back then they have on the front. This creates the illusion that the car is more aerodynamic. Nineteen-inch rims on the back two wheels with 17-inch or 16-inch wheels for the front will be perfect to enhance this effect.

Step 3

Lower the suspension. In addition to giving the car a more sleek appearance, this will allow for a lower center of gravity, better enabling it to handle sharp turns.

Step 4

Add a dual exhaust system. This will give the vehicle the muscle car appeal not common of most Cadillacs. It also will make the muffler quieter.

Step 5

Add a ground effects. You can go to any website, like Andy’s Auto Sport or R&R racing, and they will provide a selection of ground effects for your model of Cadillac. Ground effects can give the car more drag racing appeal, and in many cases they make the car more aerodynamic for speed.
